I’ve come to the realization that good coders don’t remember how to do everything from the top of their head, and often consult Google for information.
I keep putting myself down when I would Google how to do specific things like how to connect multiple sockets, I guess I measured my skill by what I could remember over how confidant I now felt doing specific tasks.
I’m now over halfway through my 100 Days journey, and when I take a step back I really can say I’ve learned a lot in 60 days. Before I couldn’t even remember how to print variables, I had no idea how to create a class, I never knew how functions and methods worked and now that stuff is pretty much second nature now.
I’m pretty happy with myself with what I’ve achieved so far, and I’m excited to see what the next 38 days bring.
A bit of a coding update.
I’ve updated more of my ROT13 encoder, it can now decode ROT13 as well. YOu can check it out here: https://github.com/Techdox/ROT13-Encoder-Decoder
I’ve also learned how to use GIT, which I just wanted to note.
