I’ve been coding but forgot to blog about it… my bad!
So I’ve been working more on learning Django and that’s been going really well, it does require a fair bit of time set aside so I can really soak in all the information from the documentation as well as the video tutorials.
You can see my progress on Github: https://github.com/Techdox/DjangoTrainingSite.
I also quickly made a ROT13 encoder that will take your string and convert it to ROT13. There wasn’t any real reason for this, I just wanted to give it a try, and I’m going to work on it over time. https://github.com/Techdox/ROT13-Encoder.
import codecs def rotCHange(): rinput = input("Enter in your phrase to convert.") enc = codecs.getencoder("rot-13") rot = enc(rinput) print(rot) if __name__ == "__main__": rotCHange()
I feel a lot more confident in functions and just in terms of writing python, it feels good to actually be able to understand the code somewhere and instead of just copying and pasting it, I can write it in my own way.
