Want To Switch To Linux?

Thinking of switching to Linux? Here is a tip I suggest before you make the big move.

Dual boot or use a laptop with Linux on it. I suggest this because moving to Linux from say Windows cold turkey is not a smart move. When you first move to Linux you realise that a lot of software you use to use is not supported on Linux, as you will have to find alternatives, they are out there but it takes awhile to find that perfect one for you.

During the stage of trying to find your favorite alternatives this is where people give up, and go back to Windows.

Dual booting helps you realise what to expect when you make the move and allows you to get comfortable with how your Linux distro runs. I personally switched back to Windows like 5 times before I finally felt confident to make the move. It also helps that I pretty much-ditched gaming altogether.

If you ever need tips of software to use feel free to leave a comment and I or others can help.
