The Second Year Done and Dusted
My second year of my IT degree is done and dusted, and I really enjoyed it and I will explain why.
So this year is the year I believe I learned some key skills, not just in IT but also personal skills, which I will take with me from this day forward.
It was the last year of my networking classes and I really learned a lot of key skills that I can take to a job like using ESXi and Vsphere as well as Cloud Computing. I also developed a stronger drive to aim high and strive for my goals no matter how big they are (the bigger the better).
Now I am at a stage where I can’t wait to begin work and become part of a team, where I can learn and develop in a career I can be proud of and put in 100% effort. I have to complete a project next year which is like getting a position in a business and working on a project with them, and then I create a poster at the end of the year which displays what I worked on and what I learned while I was there. I have applied for a spot at an amazing business named Revera and I really hope it goes through, I’m not holding my breath though as if it does not work out I don’t want to beat myself up about it, because that’s the sort of person I am, I get so invested in an idea and think of all the possibilities it possesses for me and then if it falls through I can’t help but get a little crushed about it.
Over the Xmas break, I plan on learning Python and ethical hacking as my security paper sparked an interest in that area.
Until next time.
