How To Install Video Drivers via GUI

A lot of people who move from Windows/Mac to Linux are so use to using a GUI for everything they need to install, and I was the same. So for those who don’t like installing via the terminal (Which you will have to overcome eventually) I will show you how to do it via the GUI.

This works in Ubuntu/Linux Mint

Go to your application launcher

In this I am using KDE so my application launcher is located in the bottom left.

Search for Driver Manager

Once you are in the menu, you will see a range of drivers, Linux will sugguest a Driver to use and you are safe to choose that one, once you have slected it and applied changes it will install and restart. Once it has rebooted your drivers will be in use, this can be the only way some users can install their GPU drivers because when done in the terminal they can face a black screen on startup.
